When a patient achieves a better quality of life so they can be a better person for their loved ones and community, then I feel I’ve succeeded in my job. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? As a primary care PCP, my mission is to attend to just that- their primary care needs such as medications for common mental health needs such as depression, ADHD as well as any urgent primary care requests. It is also my mission to understand my practice limits to best fit the patient's needs and when it may be necessary to refer a patient to a specialty or ER. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy pilates, cooking, trying new restaurants, going to comedy shows and spending time with my family, friends and dog. A fun fact about me is I’m in the process of getting my pilates instructor certification.
