I filled out the paperwork through the portal I had to activate as well as submitting my forms through zocdoc so I was very disappointed when I arrived to have to hand fill out all the forms again. It not only took awhile to fill out the forms but then they still had to upload my forms into the system so for a 2:40pm appointment I didn't even see the doctor till 3:10pm despite being there at 2:20pm.

A 1985 graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Harter practiced internal medicine for 15 years in Baltimore before moving to the Valley in 2000 to practice headache medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and became one of only two physicians in Arizona to pass the first national board exam in headache medicine in 2006. She brings a holistic approach to headache treatment, addressing diet and other lifestyle factors before proceeding to medications. Her emphasis is always on prevention. Dr. Harter has administered Botox with great success to hundreds of headache patients from all over Arizona since 2004. She has experienced migraines personally, creating a passion for helping headache patients regain control of their lives.
Dr. Harter continues to practice all aspects of primary care internal medicine as she has done since 1985, in addition to her special interest in headache medicine.

In all my life I have never been cross examined by a physician the way that I was treated by this doctor. She made me feel like I was a drug addict and told me I needed to see a psychiatrist to get the medication that I've been taking for years from primary care physician. I moved from Baltimore to Phoenix I needed a new MD and left there totally embarrassed and insulted

As a new patient, I was asked to arrive a bit early to take care of paperwork. I did so, thinking I would be waiting for some time before seeing the doctor. The paperwork was done right away, and I saw the doctor at the exact time I was scheduled for. Dr. Harter was extremely thorough and took time to get to know me. She made me feel at ease. AWESOME experience overall!!
