Dr. Lykins enjoys practicing all aspects of Otolaryngology but with his fellowship background in facial plastic surgery, he particularly enjoys the treatment of challenging functional nasal reconstruction. In addition, he was one of the earliest adopters of minimally invasive thyroid surgery in the Phoenix metro area.
Besides medicine and his daughter, Dr. Lykins has a deep dedication to music. In between college and medical school, Dr. Lykins was a touring guitarist in an internationally known rock band. He is currently playing bass in a local rockabilly band that performs throughout the West. For recreation he enjoys skiing, SCUBA diving, and reading.

I made the appointment the day before and showed up for my appointment on time. I waited no more than 10 minutes and was in a room. The nurse got my vitals and then the Dr Lykins was in to see me. Took care of me and got me on my way. Great doctor!!

Extremely well run office with great, friendly, empathetic staff, and knowledgeable staff. My appointment was exactly on time, which is so refreshing in a day were delays at the Dr. office have become the norm. Dr. Lykins was personable, approachable, and most importantly, thorough in his diagnostics. I didn't feel rushed, just a number, or an inconvenience. I felt like a person who's well being was their primary mission.

Dr. Lykins was great, as were all of the Valley ENT specialists and staff I saw during today's office visit. ZocDoc made it easy to find this doctor, schedule the appointment, and complete most of the paperwork in advance. Their office "patient portal" is helpful too. This office is clearly set up for today's on-line world, and I appreciate that aspect as well. Bottom line is that Dr. Lykins and the team were all friendly, helpful, and reassuring with respect to my health issue and follow-up care. I highly recommend them.
