Dr. Mantle was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Tuscaloosa. He attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate education and then received his Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Mantle then stayed on in Birmingham where he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, receiving many honors including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He then returned to Nashville for his general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After completing residency in July 2011, Dr. Mantle joined Otolaryngology Associates of Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and enjoys treating the entire spectrum of problems related to the ears, nose, and throat for both adults and children. At home, he enjoys golf, hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
