It was a good visit communication was good between x-ray and actual Dr. and front desk clerks as well as it didnt take long to be seen.

Christopher McCrum, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine for the knee, lower leg, and shoulder. Dr. McCrum earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Los Angeles County Hospital and Keck Medical Center at the University of Southern California, during which he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He then received advanced training in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with internationally recognized sports medicine experts through a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also served in a leadership role as Administrative Fellow. During this time, he served as a sports medicine physician and was part of the care team that treated athletes from the University of Pittsburgh (NCAA Division 1), the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), and the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL). He has published a variety of academic articles, delivered scores of presentations domestically and internationally, and contributed to several textbooks. His research interests include joint preservation and cartilage replacement, stem cells, shoulder and knee surgery, and return-to-play outcomes in elite athletes. He is also a reviewer for several orthopaedic publications, including the Journal of Arthroscopy. Dr. McCrum belongs to multiple national and international organizations, including: the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine; the Arthroscopy Association of North America; and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
