After earning his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at The University of Texas in Austin, Dr. McGuirk completed his medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by his OB/GYN residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He is board certified and is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and dogs. His hobbies include travel, exercise, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. McGuirk always makes me feel like he has plenty of time to listen to my concerns. He never gives the impression of being in a hurry to get to the next patient. He is professional and has a great bedside manner. I am blessed to have him as my doctor.
