I booked my first appointment with Christopher Newman MD on October 2, 2014. After filling out the paper work, I was called to go into the back right away. The doctor came to see me a few minutes later. After speaking with the doctor, I got a prescription. I asked a question about cold sores, he called his friend to find out about cold sores, then he came back and wrote me another prescription for that. His bedside manner was refreshing. I am very satisfied with my visit there, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Chris Newman, MD is a board certified otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon. He has practiced in Greensboro, North Carolina treating children and adults since 1990. He received his medical school training from Wake Forest Medical School and completed his specialty training in Otolaryngology at Duke University. After completing his residency, he started an Ear, Nose and Throat practice in Greensboro where he lives with his wife and four daughters.
Dr. Newman believes in providing personalized, compassionate and quality care for every patient. He enjoys not only helping his patients with ear, nose and throat problems, but also helping his patients understand their illness and providing them with medical and surgical options for the best treatment.
His areas of special interested include sinus disease and surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, surgical treatment for sleep apnea, snoring and evaluation, treatment of head and neck masses.
He also provides treatment for hoarseness, hearing problems, nasal obstruction and a full range of ear, nose and throat problems in adults and children.
