Chris Taylor, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of cranial and spinal disorders.
Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in neurological surgery. He received advanced training in cerebrovascular surgery and endovascular surgical neuroradiology through a fellowship at UT Southwestern. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico.
Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.
Dr. Taylor is the author of numerous book chapters and original articles on general and cerebrovascular neurological surgery, subjects on which he also regularly delivers invited lectures and presentations. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several scholarly journals.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Society of Neurological Surgeons, and the Western Neurosurgical Society.
