While at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. York earned the Osler Student Scholar Award in recognition of his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. After graduating first in his medical school class, he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. York is fluent in Spanish. I would recommend him to all my friends and neighbors, and hope he continues to do well in his practice. I dont want to need his hearing aides anytime soon, but he said I was free to come back to see him If I had any problems. Thank you

It was my first appointment with Dr. York today. I would have to say I was very happy with my entire experience. The front desk staff was informative and helpful. Dr. York took the time to listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed. He seemed genuinely concerned about me as a patient.
I truly appreciated his nurses caring attitude as well. I have had my nose scoped several times, but for some reason I had a bit of a reaction to the nasal spray during the prepping of the scoping process. My throat was completely numb and I felt like I couldn't swallow which was causing my claustrophobia to go in over drive. The nurses were right there reassuring me that some people react differently. They assured me they were right outside the door. At one point I even opened the door until the Doctor came in to start my treatment. I greatly appreciate the kindness. Not all Doctor's Offices would have reacted quite nicely although they all should!

Very professional staff and the doc explained all the processes going on with my hearing. I highly recommend him and his practice. I would point out that despite completing the paperwork online prior to the appointment, I was asked to answer the same questions on a tablet as part of the sign in process.

This is the worst run Dr's office I've ever been to. Tried to order a CPAP machine and I followed up for 6 weeks only to find out that the prescription was never sent. Also, In order to follow up on anything I get transferred, and I kid you not, 5 times just to leave a message.

He is young, but a very good doctor. I went with him because he graduated top in his medical class. In my book that says something. Most doctors I have seen probably graduated at the bottom. He did a good clean job on surgery as well. Now it took a whole month to get someone to call me back for surgery. I even had to get higher management involved. Scheduling was a total nightmare.

Overall the experience was okay. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very nice, concerning his part he did a fine job. However I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to been seen, I understand the doctor and the office are busy but I felt that was a little too long. The front desk ladies were talking about how drunk they had gotten one night and that was very unprofessional, however this has nothing to do with the doctor just the office.

Dr. York is excellent! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough. He doesn't rush and makes sure to take the time to address any and all patient questions. I felt very comfortable with him and his steps for ensuring that I finally get some answers and relief from my symptoms. I had to sit in the waiting room for quite a while before being called back but it was understandable since he actually takes time with his patients and doesn't rush you in and out in 5-10 minutes like MANY docs I've seen in the past. Dr. York is absolutely worth the wait so don't get discouraged if you see less than 5 stars on the wait time, just plan accordingly. I highly recommend him!

Took the time to listen to what I had to say, and gets things I needed done in a timely manner. Had tubes put in my ears, procedure only took 30 minutes or a little less. Going to stay with this doctor for sure.

After going to my primary doctor and getting no relief I then went to another ENT Dr. Who over prescribed me and made my worse, Dr York was very thorough and identified the problem. I was in immense pain, and the previous doctor would not see me until my follow up which was a week and a half away. I'm thankful for Dr. York seeing me right away, and he even gave me his number that if I had any issues or for your pain to give him a call and he would see me right away. Hands-down one of the best doctor patient interactions I've had in a long time.

I love Dr. York! I work in health care so I am hyper critical when it comes to being a patient. He was thorough and friendly! He listened and gave me complete explanations and answered all my questions! I would 100% recommend him to anyone. The only downside was the over an hour wait before I even got into my exam room. Total bummer but worth it for excellent care!

Dr. York was a godsend! My son had been suffering with ear infections for many months. His most recent one still hadn't cleared up after three weeks and three different antibiotics. And his fever was getting worse. He desperately needed surgery for tubes, but his original ENT wasn't available for another three months. At my wits end, I found Dr. York on ZocDoc, who had an opening that day to see my son. He was so genial and understanding. He saw my son's condition and realized our predicament. He rearranged his schedule to fit my child in for surgery that Friday. Now, three weeks later, my son is a new boy! His fever is gone, and his mood has improved. Not to mention that he's eating and sleeping so much better. I wish I had found Dr. York in the beginning when my son first started having issues.
