I love caring for children because they are fresh in their outlook. They don't have preconceived ideas and are open books right from the start. I help them to develop in a way that's positive. It's such a joyful way to spend my day, seeing little kids running through my office to give me a hug, listening to parents who needs me. It's like living with one big family. The most important thing is that everyone enjoys the relationship. We are going to be a team, and I want to be able to talk openly with families, laugh when we need to, and have them trust me. For me it's about making sure the relationship between myself and the family is secure and trusting. It's not just the child, its the whole group. My main philosophy is that we're all in this together. I absolutely love what I do, and I want to do this job for as long as I can. I enjoy the relationships that I build, and watching my patients grow up and come back to see me as grown adults is such a joy.
