Many controlled substances have a high potential for abuse, and overdose on controlled substances may result in death. Without an in person visit, the potential risk outweighs the intended benefit. In 2002, Dr. Vu graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Biological Sciences. In June 2007, he obtained his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine after completing basic sciences at St. George's and clinical sciences at New York Methodist and Metropolitan Hospitals. Dr. Vu finished his medical education program with a three year internship/residency at Mountainside Family Practice Residency Program in Montslair, New Jersey. Dr. Vu has special interests in caring for the whole person, working in community clinic and teaching other physicians. Outside interests include: mixed martial arts, painting and free-hand drawing, road trips, watching the Lakers and Angels, trying new foods and playing a challenging game of badminton.
