Dr. Ramirez is phenomenal. Outstanding physiatrist. I highly recommend seeing her. My recommendation to see her stands despite the front desk staff who initially refused to honor my appointment because I did not have a referral (despite having a PPO and record of care with another physiatrist).

Dr. Claudia Ramirez is a proud daughter of immigrant parents who obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland. She went on to obtain her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completed residency at the University of Rochester where she trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She followed this up with a pain fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dr. Ramirez is a spine and musculoskeletal specialist, who comes to Kelly Collaborative Medicine from academics. Her practice focuses on non-surgical spine disorders like low back pain, disc disease, stenosis, radiculopathy; joint disorders like arthritis of shoulder, hip, knee as well as myofascial pain. She believes in a multimodal approach: Education, Lifestyle modifications, therapy, non-opioid medications, injections and referral to surgery as needed. She is also Board Certified and a native Spanish speaker who grew up in the DC metro area.
