Chiropractor
800 W Hwy 290 Bldg F, Ste 500, Dripping Springs, TX
Dr. Clay grew up in a small town in New Mexico. However, his father being Texan, it was only a matter of time until he left the Land of Enchantment for the land of Bluebonnets. His journey to the profession of chiropractic took more of a convoluted path than most. Initially, he was interested in pre-medicine, but quickly realized his understanding of holistic health principles didn't fit into the Western medical model. Luckily, he found his first passion—nutrition—in undergrad. However, he quickly realized that the field of nutrition had been largely fell into the same medical model and was discouraged by the state of healthcare in general. It wasn't until after a great deal of consulting friends, family, and God that his path to chiropractic became clear. The defining moment was when his mother inquired why chiropractic hadn't been considered. After all, his grandfather had been a chiropractor. That conversation opened the door to something Dr. Clay would never have expected. On the first day of chiropractic school, the professor for Chiropractic Philosophy opened class by saying, "Welcome to the greatest profession on Earth." At the time, this notion seemed silly. However, now years into practice, Dr. Clay fully understands what his chiropractic school professor meant. Every day, Dr. Clay's passion for his patients, his colleagues, and the profession of chiropractic grows. "Thank you for trusting me with the care of your spine. The conduit of the human nervous system, which organizes every cell, tissue, organ, system, and function of the body. When we take time to listen, understand, and work with the body, incredible things happen. It is truly an honor to be trusted as your chiropractor." - Dr. Clay, DC
