Dr Lowder was excellent...His assistants were excellent.....Check in desk was aweful. Waited about a hour and a half in lobby before I went to check in desk to ask why so long a wait. Told me they called my name and I did not respond so they forgot about me. (Hearing problem) Check in desk usually asks for insurance proof. I have Medicare and Tricare for Life. Both till I die. Why do they have to keep checking? If I am there in person, it means I did not pass away (yet) When I signed in, I indicated that there was NO CHANGE in my insurance. That should stop them from calling me back to the check in desk.

My visit to Dr. Lowder was very good. I like how he listens to your needs before making decisions. I had a new nurse today, new to me, and she was excellent! Cheerful and friendly! I love everyone's professionalism.
Verified patient
After waiting nearly two hours I had less than five minutes with Dr Lowder. He did not address my specific concerns, nor did he seem overly interested in what I had to say. I left the appointment feeling like I had wasted the entire morning, which in effect, I did. In my opinion he is a good doctor when all you need are refills, but not the doctor to go to when you have a real medical problem.

I usually don't have problems at Colonial Health Care. Dr. Lowder is great and has a great bed side manner. Staff are great too!

Verified patient
Dr. Lowder has been my physician for about 15 years and I have always been extremely satisfied with manner and professionalism. I never feel rushed and he always takes the time to explain why he recommends a particular test or procedure and always answers my questions.
He listens, responds and offers his solutions. He gives choices letting me know what to expect. When I leave, I feel that we have decided on the best health care as a team.
Verified patient
I just don't feel very informed.
Verified patient
Dr. Lowder takes his time to listen to your concerns and to also share personal experiences which in my opinion is what the medical professionals should try to practice with as many of their patients that they can. It may take a few more minutes but I watch elderly patients come in with a blank face, and most are smiling when they leave. The doctor's nurses play a big part in providing that contact a lot of patient's seek also, and as stressful and busy as it can be for them, they also try to be as caring and kind. I think my medical team is excellent and appreciate them fully.
