Dr. Chew is a Board Certified otolaryngologist/ ear, nose & throat (ENTs) / head and neck surgeon by the American Board of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery. He has over 15 years of surgical experience. Dr. Chew performs sinus surgery, specialized oral/laryngeal surgery, major head & neck surgery (neck dissection, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, cancer), and ear surgery.
Dr. Chew is a native of San Francisco and graduated from Lowell High School with Honors. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with Honors and Distinction in 1991 from Stanford University and his MD and residency training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, with Honors.
We now offer allergy skin test in our office.
Dr. Chew speaks fluent Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and some Spanish. Our office staff also speaks fluent Vietnamese.

This ENT practice is the best-kept secret in San Francisco. Dr. Chew changed my life, literally. Prior to visiting him, my chronic sinusitis and fatigue had me drained. I couldn't function, couldn't think, couldn't work. I was averaging almost two naps a day from the slow down. I was on almost 4-5 different medications and sprays per day. My backpack looked like a mobile pharmacy.
After being treated by Dr. Chew, my sinuses are completely cleared up. The infection is treated and gone. My energy is beyond control. I'm bouncing off the walls feeling like a teenager again! My productivity, focus, memory, concentration have all hit limits I never thought I'd ever experience again! I can honestly say that being treated by Dr. Chew may have possibly saved my career.
Dr. Chew's staff is polite, friendly, and extremely organized. Dr. Chew is thorough, careful, and extremely calculated. I plan to keep this relationship for as long as I can. I HIGHLY recommend the investment.
