Dr Clyde Singleton was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating high school with honors, he served proudly in the United States Air Force for 6 years. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors distinction. Dr Singleton completed his doctoral degree at University of Houston, College of Optometry and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2000 with numerous honors and distinctions. Dr Singleton once again served his nation proudly as a Navy Optometry Officer for more than four years. Dr. also accepts Care Credit.

My visit with the office was excellent. I work in the healthcare field and have high standards. Dr. Singleton was very thorough throughout the exam. After I left the office, I immediately called my husband to let him know we found a new provider for our eye services.

The wait time only glitch. After first 25 minutes I asked the receptionist, she stated an emergency came in. I understand this happens, but recommend notifying patients of extended wait times when they check-in, instead of them having to ask during their wait. Once I knew about extended wait I started looking for my frames before seeing the doctor. Doc and staff are pleasant, professional and helpful. Exams, tests and findings are explained in detail with excellent bedside manner. Decent selection of frames. Clean, well kept office environment :)

Dr. Singleton was great! He explained to me my problems in a way I was easily able to understand. He made me feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to. The next time I go to an eye doctor, I'll be sure to make an app with him again.
