More about Dr. Coby Johns, DC
Dr. Coby grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. He served a church mission to the Hawaii before returning to begin his education at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. While at Ricks College he met his wife, Shalyce.
He finished his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University before enrolling at Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. After graduation, Dr. Coby practiced in Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona.
Dr. Coby has completed advanced education and certification through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) and has been certified as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). He has also been certified by The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
Dr. Coby enjoys all sports & loves being active. This has molded his Chiropractic Care focus and mantra to: “If you have a body, you are an athlete.” He believes that while we are not all gifted with the ability to be world-class athletes, we all have the ability to achieve more in our lives. By offering you the same clinical techniques & services at BackFit that are available to elite athletes, each patient has the opportunity to be in control of achieving optimal health and performance.
His desire is to help each and every patient he encounters reach their goals, whether it is their first triathlon, marathon, or 5k, a State Championship, mountain biking, a walk through the park, or enjoying a pain-free day at work.
He is a very proud father of 3 beautiful girls.
