Dr. Colette Larsen, O.D. graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in May, 2013. She did her externships in primary clinical care, pediatrics, binocular vision, contact lens, and glaucoma. Dr. Larsen also completed an externship with the Aker-Kasten Eye Center in Boca-Raton, FL, where she was responsible for managing pre and post-op cataract patients. While completing an additional externship with Dr. Richard Sorkin, OD, FAAO, FCOVD in St Petersburg, FL, she gained invaluable experience in the work of vision therapy for binocular visual conditions.
After graduating, Dr. Larsen spent 2 years practicing optometry in South Florida before returning to her native state of New Jersey. She recently joined the Wise Vision Family where she performs comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings & follow up visits. Her expertise covers bifocals, disposable and astigmatism lenses, eye disease treatment and the co-management of cataract and refractive surgery.
