I'm glad I found Dr Yilmaz as my doctor. He understands and listens to me. Thank you for not giving up on me.
Dr Yilmaz listens and takes his time with my appointments...He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
Dr. Yilmaz is great. Always very understanding and knowledgable. I will continue treatment with Dr. Yilmaz.
He was very professional and asked a lot of good questions to help me. I felt very comfortable.
He didn't want to listen to what I had to say, just prescribed a bunch of medications.
I liked Dr. Yilmaz. He listened to what I had to say and was very caring.
Very helpful doctor. Took time to ask my history and evaluated me well.
He is very knowledgable on what he does. Will be seeing him again soon.
Unfortunately, I believe it was a waste of time and money.
This doctor actually knows what he's talking about! =)
Unprofessional, office is a dump
Front desk was sincere and honest. Doctor is down to earth and will bend over backward to see that he is eliminating what ails you. I appreciate his forwardness and sense of care. Flexible options for appointments.
Very kind understanding Doctor. Over the past 30 years I have interacted with many Psychiatrists, he is one of the better ones in my opinion.
He seemed to know what he was talking about very (knowledgeable) guy. He got me started on something to help me and was a nice guy. If you expect a cat, you will be disappointed though. Someone complained.. For some people mabie that's better but I wanted to see it. Overall great rating because he took the time to listen to me, and got me in fast!
We had to reschedule
The office was very outdated, dirty, and small. The wait time was ridiculous! The Dr had four patients scheduled within the same hour and I found this out 45 mins past my appointment time when I asked what was going on and why I still haven't been seen yet. I was told there were two more people a head of me and everyone's appointment can run any where from 15 mins to an hour so hard to say. Once I did get back there, another hour and a half later (so now two hours and 15 mins), the Dr was rude and didn't want to hear what I had to say, he just wanted his questions answered in a hurry because he said, "we don't have a lot of time here!" But he had plenty of time with the other patients prior to me? I wouldn't ever recommend this Dr to anyone!
It went well.
Not crazy about his receptionist attitude. Have been a patient of Dr. Yilmaz for years. She should acknowledge and be more professional.
He and his receptionist are so welcoming and helpful. They got me in last minute and took the time to actually listen to my needs and help me feel secure and knowledgeable about the medications I am taking and the steps towards a better mental health and an even better me. Well worth it!
It was nice!
Dr Yilmaz and staff are incredible! What more needs to be said, efficient and kind. Needs will be met and expectations exceeded.
Office was poorly run.
Very smart. The building is a bit run down and there were definitely some questionable people hanging about. But the doctor himself seems like a no nonsense kinda guy. The way I like people to be with me.
Office environment was bizarre--not terribly clean, professional, or inviting. Dr. Yilmaz did not make eye contact with me once during the visit. He keeps his office dark as night and sits behind two large computer screens during the consultation. Took time to ask some questions and seems to know more or less what he is doing. But I think he might be a robot.
Very disorganized.
The office was dirty and in bad shape. Corey spoke rapidly in hushed tones muffled by the fact that he was hidden behind laptop and computer screens as he spoke. His voice is soft and trails off at the end making it very hard to understand him. Thought he'd have better communication skills!
He's not one to bs you he'll listen ask questions and then using his huge amount of knowledge make recommendations. No offense the office is a little run down but his skill overcomes that.
I was really upset that he prescribed me a medication, Lexapro, that has a generic and the pharmacy said the doctor would not allow the generic to be filled. Makes sense now considering I saw the coffee mugs for Lexapro in his office and the kickbacks he must get from the company. Will not be seeing him again unless he is willing to prescribed the generic version which is less than 1/4 the cost.
I would highly recommend this professional . They not only provide good care but it is the straight up type of care that people need. Especially during times when you need it, when life asks for you to make it count.
Seemed intent on pushing a specific drug on me even though it has caused bad reactions in the past. Looked me in the eye maybe once, and was texting during my appointment. Sent me for lab work but didn't include lab work paperwork. All in all, a waste of time.
He's knowledgable and thorough.
Easy process to set my appointment ....all online
He knows what he is doing and is direct in figuring out what to do. My anxiety and ADD have gotten completely better and my old doctor had me on the wrong meds and really messed me up n he realized what the right meds were within 10 minutes of talking to me n this is the best I've ever felt. He was also really easy to talk to. Added bonus: Very relaxing office, iced coffee, 55 inch tv, WIFI, cute cat.
Was a bit sketchy but the dr. Listened to me and seemed to understand and have knowledge of what I was going through. Most of all he was confident I could be helped and positive.
The office did not appear professional, there was a cat and cat hair in the office, which would be bothersome to anyone with allergies. The Dr. was knowledgeable but the atmosphere was less than therapeutic.
He is an amazing Psychiatrist. It's always very nerve wrecking to see someone new but he and his staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. Being a woman it is hard to be comfortable speaking openly to a man but he was able to make me feel at ease and confident! Will definitely make the drive from North Scottsdale to come see him! Of all the psychiatrists I have been to I am happy to finally say I am pleased!
