Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Corinne Paige is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also holds a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Florida, a Bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of South Florida, and an Associate's degree from Hillsborough Community College - Dale Mabry Campus.
Corinne began her nursing career in early 2019 as a board-certified medical-surgical nurse on an inpatient orthopedics unit. Her passion for mental health led her to transition to psychiatric nursing in January 2020. Since then, she has worked in various settings focusing on mental health, including inpatient crisis stabilization, gaining experience with patients of all ages and a wide range of diagnoses.
One of her most fulfilling roles was at an outpatient program offering intensive outpatient therapy and partial hospitalization, primarily serving active duty military members and veterans.
In addition to clinical work, Corinne is dedicated to educating future healthcare professionals. She teaches nursing students at Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida, guiding them through mental health clinical rotations in Tampa Bay hospitals. She is passionate about helping students understand the complexities and rewards of mental health care while advocating for stigma reduction.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Corinne is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to achieve optimal mental health. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships, ensuring each individual feels heard and supported throughout treatment. Always striving for growth, Corinne stays current on advancements in psychiatric care and integrates innovative approaches to enhance patient outcomes.
