Dr. Kiernan is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. Before opening her practice in the Wal-Mart Vision Center, Dr. Kiernan practiced in the Salt Lake City area and Ogden, Utah. She also practiced and co-managed Lasik patients at a corrective eye surgery center.
Dr. Kiernan’s accomplishments include the Wal-Mart “Doctor of the Year” in 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2010. She is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Kiernan has expertise in ocular disease, refractive surgery co-management, specialty contact lenses and general optometry. She leads an active life outside of the office with her husband and four beautiful sons: Luke, Maxx, Kaz and Blake. They enjoy traveling, camping and trips to the beach. She and Dr. Tran welcome you to visit their office.
