I had a great experience getting tested for allergies.
Both the doctor and nurse communicated clearly about what the procedure was and how to understand the results of the tests. We talked prior about my reasons for being here and any symptoms that I had. We also talked afterwards about the results, what I need to avoid, and any steps that I can take to alleviate symptoms.
It took a little while, about 2 hours, but I was seen right away. Overall, I am very satisfied with my appointment

Dr. Brody is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology. He has been in practice for over 20 years in Northwest Washington DC. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He trained at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease for his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a member of the American Thoracic Society. This was a virtual visit and a first visit. I set it up the day before so don't think the dr. saw all my paperwork beforehand or even during the visit. Still, he listened well, communicated clearly re my options and the priority order of steps he recommended in terms of tests and meds. My one concern was that he didn't seem to review other conditions I have or drugs I take to ensure no exacerbation of other conditions or drug interactions. I reviewed that myself but a less diligent patient might not and suffer the consequences.

Dr. Brody is excellent! He’s attentive and really took the time to answer all my questions. It was a great experience, very efficient but I didn’t feel rushed. The Medical Assistant who did my check in and allergy test, Tiesha, was absolutely incredible as well. She was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.

I was extremely impressed with my first visit. The staff was friendly and efficient. Most importantly, Dr. Brody was the epitome of a caring, empathetic doctor. He came across as truly interested in what I was relaying and asked questions to clarify. He was transparent and a great listener. I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Brody before getting my second Covid vaccine for a consult on a potential allergic reaction to the first dose. He was very attentive, listened and explained things in a way I could understand. I didn't feel rushed and felt like he really cared about my concerns. After speaking with him I feel confident taking the second dose.

I had a great visit to Dr. Brody’s office as a new patient. The front desk receptionist was very polite and kind. I got seen within the 10 mins of arriving and on time. The RNs were friendly and helpful. And Dr. Brody spent time explaining to me everything, what I was allergic to and the next steps of treatment. Very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone.

When I came home after my appointment, my husband asked me how it went. I said I liked Dr. Brody. I paused: sure I could do better than that. I then added "he listens.". My husband knew exactly what I meant.
The facility is spotless, there was no wait, the receptionist and nurse were delightful. All of that matters, of course. But when I think about my appointment, the thing I keep coming back to is "he listens.".
I highly recommend Dr. Brody. Highly.
