Dan A. Sdrulla, MD, PhD, is an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor in the Denver Area. A native of Bucharest, Romania, Dr. Sdrulla moved to the west coast of the United States with his family after high school. He received his undergraduate degree with honors in Biology from Stanford University. He then attended the University of Colorado Medical School Denver where he completed the prestigious MSTP (Medical Scientist Training Program) program and graduated with his MD and PhD. His otolaryngology residency was completed at Washington University in St. Louis; he also completed a neuro-otology and skull base surgery fellowship at the Michigan Ear Institute. Dr. Sdrulla went on to complete his medical degree in Neurosciences from University of Colorado Health Science Center.
Board certified in Otolaryngology, Dr. Sdrulla has joined Advanced Ear, Nose & Throat in the Denver Area. Active in various professional organizations, Dr. Sdrulla is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Neurotology Society and the Otosclerosis Study Group. Dr. Sdrulla is the author of numerous articles in publications; including Otologic and Neurologic Surgery, Masters Techniques in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and Patient Management Perspectives in Otolaryngology, among others.
Dr. Sdrulla is particularly passionate and uniquely trained to evaluate and treat any problems of the ear. Medical issues of the ear include ear infections, hearing loss, ear drum injuries, dizziness, ringing in the ear, tumors, and hearing rehabilitation. In his down time, Dr. Sdrulla enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys fly fishing, camping, skiing, and coaching his children in tennis and soccer.

Dr. Dan has a great bedside manner! I was actually very nervous about getting a tube put in my ear while awake and in the office. He walked me through every step of the process and explained every move me made. It was so much easier than I anticipated it to be. Because he was so thorough with his explination I was instantly put at ease.
