Dana Dwyer, MD, has been practicing OB-Gyn for 13 years. She was raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, and graduated from medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and completed her residency program at Michigan State University via the Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center. Dr. Dwyer has been practicing in Colorado for the past 10 years. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
As an obstetrician, she feels privileged to be a part of one of the most joyous moments of a family’s life in welcoming their son or daughter to the world. She has special interests in minimally invasive gynecology, including outpatient and laparoscopic hysterectomy, bio-identical hormone therapy, peri-menopausal and menopausal disorders, urinary incontinence, vaginal dysfunction and optimizing women’s overall health and function. As a woman caring for women, she understands and empathizes with the distinct challenges women face and the importance of optimizing their complete wellness during all transitions of life.
Dr. Dwyer is a mother of four and treasures time with her children. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking fourteeners, biking and skiing.
