I was seen immediately upon entering the facility. In fact, I was still filling out new patient forms when my name was called. Dr. Jacobs and Marie (the nurse, I presume) were thorough and talked me through every step of the examination. Their smiles made me feel at ease. I will definitely be back!

She answered two personal calls during my visit, and kept stepping out. Her head was just not in it that day and it showed in her hurried Q&A. I imagine it was just an off day given her other reviews.

I found that Dr. Jacobs was magnificent! She was kind, compassionate, and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of as my previous Doctor. I will continue to go back to Beth Israel in the future.

My job interview ran late so I called to let them know I would be five minutes late. It ended up being 15 mins. When I arrived the gentleman checking me in told me I was going to have wait a long time now since I was late which I found odd since it was a walk-in clinic. Once I got in, it was super fast. Dr. Jacobs lacks the bedside manner some need. She is very cold and doesn't smile. She doesn't make small talk and ask minimal questions. With that being said, our visits are very short because of this which is a plus. I am definitely going back bc I have gone to her for awhile and don't need the small chat. I wouldn't recommend her to other people.

The doctor was fine but I scheduled the visit and filled in forms on zocdoc and when I arrived the server was down or something. So, complete waste of time doing it online and as I had to wait 40 minutes for the appointment, I am not sure if I had one. I will call to make an appointment in future.

I went in for a physical and was told i would received blood test results in a week but never heard back from the doctor. I tried calling in for them but the office is unreachable. I then came in for another appointment and decided while i was there i should make an appointment to see the ob-gyn. One of the front office staff asked me for my insurance again even through i was just there a week ago. She told me to write the reason why i was there on a post it note. I would assume she was trying to be discreet. When i passed her the note she said the reason i was there very loud several times even the other people in the waiting room were all starring. When i finally was called in for the doctor i asked why i didn't receive a call she told me the bloodwork was good and she figured i was going to come in for another appointment. The staff here are the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Jacobs. She was polite, very easy to talk to, and asked plenty of questions to ascertain the history of my health. I felt very comfortable in her company and plan to continue seeing her when the need arises.
This particular visit was for a physical and vaccinations for a trip abroad.

Dr. Jacobs herself was very pleasant and informative, however, if you are looking for a more intimate experience overall, this is a huge clinic with over 20 doctors and the front desk staff could be a little more polite and attentive.

I haven't been a doctor in over a decade, so I don't really have much to reference against.
I thought the doctor did a good job, she listened to my concerns, processed them, asked cogent follow up questions and made a reasonable course action.
She also didn't assume I was an idiot and understood the difference between a joke and a serious statement.
I was comfortable with her and the rest of the staff, including the nurse (? whoever takes the blood, etc) were warm and professional.

Given that I was a new patient, I expected a more personal approach in getting to know my history and as well as more of dialogue. This checkup seemed very basic, which I guess an annual physical can be, but it gave me the impression that she wasn't very interested since I had no major pressing issues. I've also had to go back and forth to get my prescriptions filled which is more administrative but still a con in my book.
