It was a good appointment overall. The only negatives were local pharmacies don't have the medication she prescribed, so I had to order them from the pamphlet they gave me which is going to take 3-5 business days to get. When I asked her what was wrong she only told me it was a combination of things with no mention of what the combination was.

Dr. Dana Tate happily returned to the Houston area in 2009 after seven years of studies in the Midwest and Northeast. She is a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Prairie View A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Tate went on to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and received her Podiatric Medical Degree in 2005. While at OCPM, she served as both a member and officer of the Student National Podiatric Medical Association. She also worked for 3 years with Cleveland's America Reads program - a local and nationwide effort to improve the reading skills of elementary and middle school children.
After arriving in Houston following a three year residency in Binghamton and Johnson City, New York, Dr. Tate completed a 36 month, Podiatric, Medical and Surgical Residency Program based out of the United Health Services System. She has extensive training in both forefoot (bunion, hammertoes and neuromas), elective surgical procedures, as well as rear foot reconstruction. She has a special interest in the treatment of sports related injuries, dermatological conditions and diabetic palliative and preventive care. Dr. Tate enjoys working with patients one on one in a clinical setting and chatting about other passions - family, traveling and the performing arts.

Dr. Milbourne was fantastic. She really took the time to address my concerns and was also up-front about potential side-effects and what to expect afterwards. She took a hands-on approach and I really enjoyed her personality as well. She was knowledgeable and approachable and did not behave as if she was in a rush to get to the next patient. The only thing I did not like about the office was the front desk; there is an opaque plexi-glass window with a sign that says to not knock on it. However, there is no bell or anything else to indicate a patient has arrived so I thought that was odd. It gave the wrong impression since her staff is really kind and warm. Overall highly recommend!
