Dr. Daniel Cameron & Associates, located in Mount Kisco, NY, has been serving patients since 1987. Dr. Cameron is a board-certified internist and epidemiologist, who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections.
For more than 25 years, Dr. Cameron has treated thousands of patients exhibiting persistent, recurrent symptoms, including neurological manifestations, caused by chronic Lyme disease. He is considered a leader in the field and currently serves as President of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). A medical society dedicated to improving the standard of care for patients suffering from tick-borne diseases.
Dr. Cameron received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1981. He then earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota, which focused on chronic illness.
After completing residencies at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Cameron served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Geriatrics at the New York College of Medicine. He has also been heavily involved in clinical research.
