I thought he was very professional and relatable.. I was looking for a primary doctor for he longest time and I finally found one. Very caring and really listens to what you have to say. A little bit of a wait time but that's how you know he is a good doctor. He takes his time to speak with you and doesn't make you feel like you're just another appointment. Wonderful experience .

Doctor Hay is a phenomenal doctor, he has excellent bedside manner and he is very helpful, the wait time was arduous but I attribute this to his schedule, I wouldn't have minded if my ride had not been waiting on me for almost two hours the first visit. I saw Doctor Hay about a prescription refill, he was helpful. I also tested for STDs. I tried to make it clear I wanted my checkup as well before seeing him, to avoid the charge, but it was insisted upon by the receptionist and I was ignored, after trying to avoid a call to my insurance company by including that it might even be a greater charge as it did for another patient, which was a blatant lie. On my second visit, I saw the results, for which I have not paid a full visit for before in the past, but at this practice, had to. I tested positive and needed supressive therapy medication as well as antibiotics, for which only an injection was sent over to the pharmacy. Instead of receiving oral antibiotics, which wouldn't have involved another visit and the charge for transporting myself as well as a charge at the desk, I was given a prescription for an injection. I was not given the suppressive therapy medication. After calling back while the doctor was in, the receptionist said she would let the doctor know when he wasn't "busy," fast forward to the next day without a call back, I was forwarded to voicemail twice before she answered the phone to tell me the doctor was in a conference and would not be in for a week. She said she would be in touch with the director "allegedly" to get in touch with Doctor Hay at the conference although it is very probable she could reach him directly. I received no call back, still no prescription at the pharmacy. On the third day she forwarded me to voicemail six times, before answering to tell me there was nothing she could do for me and that she can't help me, to which I insisted she have someone please write me a prescription for antibiotics and suppresive medication, because I'm symptomatic and very sick. She agreed to let someone know. Call to the pharmacy later, reveals no prescription. I also called the facility during later hours to speak to the receptionists there three days in a row, which promised to try to help me and did nothing for me either. Do yourself a favor, go to a doctor that won't be on vacation while you're sick and need medicine and where the attendant is responsible and caring, these people obviously don't care about your health. If you need to be seen ASAP, it may be worth the call to your closest physician to see if there have been any cancellations. Also, don't bother filling out the forms on Zocdoc, you'll have to fill out a plethora of physical documents anyway and waste a lot of time.

Long wait
Verified patient
To start, my appointment was at 1 PM so I showed up at 12:50. They told me he had an emergency and was running late. They told me they also contacted all the patients who had appointments up until 3 PM, however, they did not contact me. The receptionist told me to come back anytime after three. I then demanded an appointment time after that. I came back at 3 o'clock and waited two and a half hours after that for the doctor to even get to the office. I was the first patient he saw and he did not know what he was doing. He was really confusing and unprofessional. And of course all of this goes without mentioning that I am transgender. You can only imagine how that went. I do not recommend.

Dr. Hay is awesome; however the wait time is way to long. Looking at the appointment times available it seems as if they just try to overbook, which isn't a good business practice. For most of my appointments I have had to wait over an hour.

I've seen Dr. Hay like 2-3 times. My 1st visit was great, not much of waiting time and everything went smoothly. My last visit if not mistaken was on Feb 7th 2017, I had to make an appointment via ZocDoc because I did not get any answer when I called multiple times to Dr office. I went with an acute sinus infection and even though I had made an appointment and arrived 15mins before my scheduled time which was 3pm, Dr did not attending/see me until 5:30pm. His bedside manner has been good, but the wait time was horrible when feeling super ill. After my visit with Dr Hay I went to my Pharmacy to pick up the medications and there was a problem with prescriptions. I tried contacting the Dr office to have this corrected, but again no answer. I left voicemail and never got a call back. I waited all day and went to the Dr office after my work to have them correct my prescription since I couldn't get ahold of anyone via phone. After I finally got my meds, I got a very bad allergic reaction where I start to ich and feel like being bite by ants. I called the Dr office and once again no answer, I tried multiple times and finally by the end of the day his receptionist answered. I explained my situation and she informed Dr Hay was with a patient and she will tell him to call me back. He never did...I thought on my next visit I was going to inform him my inconvenience, but when trying to make another appointment because I have a non-stop pain on my right arm I called and guess what? no answer, so tried to book via ZocDoc. It stayed as pending and since I just couldn't hold the pain I decided to book with another Dr. I think the issue with Dr Hay office is the receptionist, since I've never had any issues with the Dr directly and its a shame.

The first appointment he didn't show up all day with about ten other people that had appointments and the second day I waited for four hours. I paid cash and never received my change.

Dr Hay seemed very thorough, and good bedside manner. I didn't like the intern shadowing. The wait was way to long. The entire visit took over three hours

Excellent Doctor, just didn't like the long wait time even though, I understand that he spends time with all his patients unlike many others.

Was amazing, I am satisfied with everything.

Although I waited about two hours to be seen, seeing Dr. Hay was well worth the wait. He was very attentive and listened to me. As a young adult, it was my first visit with a new doctor without my parent's help and he made it very easy.

Reduculas two hour wait because he was triple booking patients. three other people had the exact same appointment time as me for 145. I didnt leave his office till 450 and was not seen till 430. I didn't even get to cover everything I needed too so I'm really just disappointed his services are even available on here. ban him from your site to save people the trouble of his ponzy scheme.
I would not think to come back. I've never waited this long to be seen by a doctor. I was desperate to be seen while I was off work and now I know better. Book elsewhere!

Great bedside manners, listened and made me feel as if he really cared, everyone in the office was exceptional and my first experience was pleasant. The wait time was long but the great care I received made up for it.

I think Dr. Hay Is the best Dr. I have seen in the Orlando Area. He takes the time to talk to you, sits down with you, explains your blood work in detail to you, answers all and any questions you have about your health. I would never dream of going to another family dr. He will call you back himself if you need to speak with him. I would recommend him to everyone I know.......

I think he's a good doctor, but my appointment was at 9 and I didn't see him until about 10:30. I was the only patient in the office that entire time, he apologized and said he thought my appointment was later. I could understand if he was seeing another patient but he wasn't even there and I had other things to do that day. But overall good doctor
My appointment was at 1pm and I didn't get seen until 345pm. I was sick as crap sitting in a tiny room waiting for a doctor. He saw everybody that came in after me before me and I didn't even accomplish half of what my visit was for. I am so incredibly upset. What a waste of time. Oh and don't even bother checking in because when you get there they will make you redo all your paperwork there. They didn't even apologize to me!!! Go at your own risk.
