Dr. Moon is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. He is a lecturer for the Annual Inter-City Gait and Orthotics course sponsored by the Temple University/MossRehab physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training program. At the University of Pittsburgh, he performed research under the mentorship of Dr. Savio L-Y Woo at the Musculoskeletal Research Center in the field of ligament and tendon biomechanics. Dr. Moon has published many original papers, book chapters and has presented locally, nationally and internationally on biomechanics and rehabilitation. He continues to be an active researcher in rehabilitation and reviewer for several journals.
