The doctor was great, efficient and knowledgeable. He offered conservative treatment including a steroid shot that provided some immediate relief. The staff were great once I was in & took my history and started imaging immediately.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Nicholson graduated from the University of Florida. He continued his medical education at Emory University, where he completed his doctorate. He has also completed an internship and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern University, as well as a fellowship in sports medicine at Baylor University.
Patients visiting Dr. Nicholson can receive specialized arthroscopic procedures including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, cartilage restoration procedures, hip arthroscopy, and total shoulder arthroscopy. General orthopedic consultations are also available. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Nicholson enjoys playing sports, following his favorite teams, and spending time with his family, including his wife (an Atlanta dermatopathologist) and two daughters.
