Dr. Nicholson was personable and explained everything clearly. I felt comfortable speaking with him and his staff who are also friendly and polite. I've been looking for a good ortho since moving to GA from NY and I think I've found the right one. Highly recommend Dr. Nicholson
Dr. Nicholson and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable about the issues that I was having. I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthopedic treatment.
I saw Dr. Yolanda Scott, who is the new neck and back specialist in this practice. She was extremely friendly (great bedside manner) and very knowledgeable. She took the time to fully evaluate my recurring pain and took the most detailed history I've ever had a physician take. She was extremely familiar with my prior treatment regimen and recommended tweaks based on my lifestyle today. Overall, excellent! NOTE- When booking ORTHO through ZocDoc, make sure to specify the body part you need seen. I was originally booked with Dr. Nicholson, who is shoulder-hip-knee. The office had to call me to reschedule with a different doctor.
Dr. Nicholson was thorough and informative, and his bedside manner put my concerns at ease. I look forward to working with him to address the issues I've been having with my knee.
It was an overall pleasant experience. Dr. Nicholson was thorough and personable.
Very nice. Took forever to get in and see him. Nurse was super sweet.
Very professional staff....thank you!
I like him a lot. Staff is great asceell
Quick intake (it helped a lot that I filled out paper work on ZocDoc before hand) ,quick traige and quick xrays. I felt like the doctor spent a fair amount of time with me and the staff efficiently scheduled my follow up appointments.
The care received from Dr. Nicholson and staff is nothing short of exceptional. All involved maintain a friendly and professional tone and extra care is given to make sure the patient understands everything and is comfortable. Can't recommend this office enough!
The dr was great but the front desk staff could use some customer service training. The receptionist was very dry and didn't even bother to apologize when she completely forgot about me. I realized, after 45 minutes, that she was calling on people to pay their copay before me. I got up and went to the window and didn't even get the chance to say anything. She immediately went and grabbed my ID and insurance card and handed it to me and told me my copay amount. Never even attempted a smile.
Great staff! Extremely good bedside manner and friendly staff
I really liked all the nurses and front Desk, I felt like the Doctor didn't listen to what I was saying. Once it was deemed I didn't need surgery, I felt like I was tossed out on my way.
Very professional and skilled.
Everyone was very kind. They were very thorough and I feel like they answered my questions.
Dr. Nicholson is awesome! Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and very patient with me.
ZocDoc confirmed the appointment to me, and ZocDoc sent me an email reminder about the appointment. However, upon signing in at the Doctor's office, his receptionist said they had no record of my having an appointment.
He is very honest and upfront. Great communicaton and him and his staff are great!
Very happy with the doctor and office staff.
Overall great visit. Dr. Nicholson is very knowledgable and very responsive to my concerns and injuries.
He was great! Very personable, knowledgeable and conservative in his approach to care.
They were great and apologized for the wait. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my issues. I really enjoyed my visit!!
great staff, very professional Xray person and the coordinato ws great too. Dr. Nicholson was very patient, knowledgeable, direct, kind, and clear on potential causes and what need to be done next. I was concerned I will be "rushed" to consider surgery options and was positively surprised to see the Dr treats surgery as last resort (worst case scenario). In and out in 60 minutes, Zocdoc online check-in worked perfectly and they were ready for me!
Dr. Nicholson was very nice and had a great bedside manner. The radiologist Celnie was also very very nice and helpful and so was the NP or PA who took care of me. Overall a very good experience.
The doctor was very well behaved and explained my issue and its diagnosis very clearly. He also explained the facts behind it and made me understand clearly
The only reason it took a little bit was because I was a new patient and had to fill out paper work, but Dr. Nicholson was extremely helpful and attentive to my injury.
Dr. Nicholson took his time to explain the extent of my case thoroughly and with ease. He made the visit comfortable. The entire staff was very professional, friendly and punctual.
I love that he took time to find out what was wrong instead of rushing thru the visit .
Doctor is very knowledgeable, patient, honest, and polite! He helps explain things in a manner in which I can understand.
I liked him very much. He knew what he was talking about and took the necessary steps to help me feel he will find a solution to the problem.
I really appreciated that I was able to make an appointment within 12 hours, and got a thorough examination of my issue. Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional.
This was my first visit to an Orthopaedic Professional - and - Dr. Nicholson IMHO is a true professional - listening to my concerns - cooperating with my preferred treatment options - and - providing ongoing care.
Great listener and thoroughly explained everything. Great doctor for anyone who is incessantly curious about the "why" like I am.
Timely visit. While not a big issue, I did have to fill out additional documents with health information on top of much of the same information I entered on ZocDoc for submission to the Dr's office. Pleasant visit, timely follow-up planned.
Great experience. Was in and out in about 45 minutes. Dr was detailed, staff was pleasant. X-ray tech was very friendly
Very professional staff. Dr. Nicholson was thorough and explained my conditions completely.
He was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better spoken, more friendly experience with Dr. Nicholson or his staff during my appointment today.
Loved getting the appointment on the internet! I hate being told to get weighed the minute you walk in. It is like you are being weighed by a stranger that has hardly set eyes on you. First thing, get on those scales, which incidentally has low bearing on coming there for shoulder pain. It seems they have OCD when it comes to this. The nurse said you will be weighed. I said no thanks, she said yes you will! .... This makes you feel unhuman, should be dispensed with, so old school. Are they weighing you to see if you are ready for slaughter. That what it feels like. Ask me, don't tell me!!!!!
This is my second visit in two years for different orthopedic problems. Dr Nicholson and his staff are top notch folks and I'm very satisfied with their practice. I know that I'm getting the best care and treatment options.
I'm just not a huge fan of having to be in a doctor's office for 2+ hours, especially since I have to leave work to do so. Nevertheless, I went back to Dr. Nicholson because he helped me the first time and he was even more personable the second time. Not that I really care to go back, but I will when the need arises.
Dr Nicholson is very friendly, knowledgeable, and has put together a wonderful staff. He took the time to listen to my concerns. I would highly recommend him.
You got the appointment wrong not only once but TWICE!!!!! After explaining to the office mgr. My insurance is Human Choice (PPO) a medicare health plan which I told ZocDoc they told me I will be billed for 45% out of my own pocket!!!!! PO GARRETT VERY UNHAPPY INJURED KNEE PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Nicholson was excellent. He did a great job of explaining what he was doing and talking through my options. The office staff and the wait time, however, would definitely make me hesitant to recommend this practice to friends or family.
Dr. Nicholson is great. Definitely recommend
I made an appointment to see this doctor but was redirected to see the practice hand specialist, Tedman Vance, MD. Dr. Vance is fantastic, as are his staff people. I had a really good experience here as a patient and as a consumer.
Dr. Nicholson was great but prepared to wait a long time to see him.
Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member!
Excellent experience. Efficient staff!
Dr. Nicholson was good, seemed very knowledgeable about the issues I brought up. He was kinda rushed however, and wait time was long but I guess its not too bad taking into account they had to take x rays prior to being seen.
Dr. Nicholson took the time to listen and engage thoughtfully with my questions and concerns. I had had a very poor experience with a previous orthopedic doctor (in a different practice), and this exchange was a breath of fresh air in comparison to that encounter.
Great experience. Dr. Nicholson was very knowledgeable and understanding about applying the care that fit my needs. The wait was a little long, but he apologized for it twice.
Could not be more satisfied.
Dr. Nicholson was great. Very personable and sat down with you for as long as needed without rushing the appt. Staff was friendly. I was called to the examining room about 10min after arriving (I was also 30mim early for my appt). The nurse spoke with me and took notes on a computer for about 20 min. After nurse left, I waited 15 min before having X-rays done. After X-rays, waited about 10 min before dr came to room to speak with me. I was actually fine with this as the office was busy and I don't feel like I waited too long for any portion of the appointment. I definitely would recommend Dr. Nicholson as his bedtime manner was genuine and not cocky.
He was great. Didn't feel rushed through my appt. and answered all my questions thoroughly.
liked the physician a lot. The wait time to see him after my xrays was long though. 2:30 pm appt got out at 4:00 pm.
Dr. Nicholson was great, my experience was top notch. I got in to the office 3 minutes before my appointment and I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes. I got in an out right away. Dr. Nicholson was extremely personable, intelligent and did a great job of explaining my injury to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a sports injury.
Nice office and staff. Dr. Nicholason was professional and address all my concerns.
Although I loved the doctor and staff members the wait was far too long. I saw the tech for weight, blood pressure, and x-rays (about 10 minutes), then I saw the doctor for another 10 minutes but my entire visit was over 2 hours long. That was somewhat ridiculous to me.
Doctor is very good but the staff is not good..they dont manage properly..my appointment was at 1:15 and i reached there at 1:05..at 2:15 the receptionist said it will take 30-40 minutes more as there are no empty rooms...this is seriously unacceptable and wastage of my time ..
Doctor is very busy but he is worth the wait. Listens to every concern and came up with a plan for my knee that was very doable! Love this doctor...I highly recommend!!!!
Excellent physician. Always explains in great detail his diagnosis, treatment plan and what the patient can expect. Never makes you feel rushed and gives you as much time as you need.
It was such a wonderful experience. It was very comfortable with the two doctors who took care of me, Dr's Nicholson , Alan, Eliot and the x-ray tec, Selina. The front desk was marvelous. Love it!!
Dr N hit the diagnosis and treatment on the spot. He knows what he's doing and is really nice. Tracked down a glass of water for me when I had a freak coughing attack. The shot I needed didn't really hurt because Dr N is experienced. My shoulder did exactly what he said it would. Now I can do my jobs as Holly Homemaker again :) (joy) lol
Very impressed with the doctor. Explained everything fully. Staff was very kind and respectful. I highly recommend this doctor!!
I think this is one of the most personable Dr I have met. He was very detailed in explaining my condition.
Very nice and experienced doctor. Tell you the detail of the problem you are having.
Really great care. I had my menicus repaired. He was fantastic and I'm like new.
Very professional, spent time to hear my problem and diagnosed well
The doctor was personable and took time to ask the right questions. He listened actively and was great.
great job from him and your service was great!
He very professional and knowledgeable. He took time to answer all my questions and explain the diagnosis. I would highly recommend him to friend and family.
It was the best doctors experience I've had in ages. Couldn't believe how short the wait was and such a friendly/knowledgable staff
Well my leg wasn't bad unfil the X-rays now it hurts like &@$/
Very pleasant orthopedist. Respectful, courteous, and genuinely works towards resolving medical issues.
Dr Nicholson was caring, honest, informative, and respectful. He seems to genuinely care about patient welfare, and does his best to arm you with all of the information required for you to feel comfortable in making your own responsible medical decisions.
I had a great visit- from the nurses to Doctor Nicholson, everyone was competent and kind, and answered all of my questions. A great experience!
very knowledgeable in understanding doctor
Dr Nicholson was great he helped me find another Dr that specializes in the help I needed and was very open and honest. I recommend him highly and appreciate all his help.
As usual, Dr Nicholson was terrific. He is personable and very thorough. He has my complete trust.
Very informative and diligent. Very impressed.
He was patient and kind. He was very caring. Even though I was nervous and crying because of the pain he took great care of me! He is the best!!
Staff were professional, friendly, prompt. Dr. Nicholson was also prompt and professional as well as informative - took the time to make sure everything we discussed was understood and ensured all questions were answered to my satisfaction.
I was seen promptly. Doctor and staff were intelligent, professional, and personable. Will absolutely be returning here
Very cometent staff in his office--Loked him very much. I felt very safe, and felt his diagnosis was spot on.
Fantastic! Everyone I interacted with was cordial and helpful and very thorough.
The office was comfortable and the staff were great. Dr. Nicholson is a nice guy and had a very pleasant bedside manner. The only issue I had here was that I really felt like I had more than just a sprain, but he told me that he had reviewed the x-rays and had seen no breaks. I got a bit pushier than I normally do and got him to look again. This time, he spotted a fracture. I understand that it was probably tough to see and that doctors are constantly swamped, but it was certainly something that worried me. If you're sure that something is wrong, just make sure to speak up for yourself (which applies to any doctor you'll ever see, I suppose).
it was very informative!!!!
Excellent choice for addressing orthopedic pain leading to a solution.
Great Dr. and medical practice.
I tore my ACL and he had me good as new in not time. AWESOME nursing staff! I was very well taken care of and would return to him for any future problems or surgeries (hopefully I won't have to!) Get the first appointment of the day for sure. I made the mistake of doing one later in the day and waited quite a while ...
Very professional, personable and informative
My experience with Dr Nicholson was great. He has lots of experience with athlete's knees, and I would recommend him to any friends that suffer a sports related injury. Very quick- in and out of the office in less than a hour.
I felt vey rushed by him on both visits. I do m
Good doctor. Knowledgable. Didn't make me feel rushed. Explained issues thoroughly.
Dr. Daniel Nicholson is very professional, he spends time with the patient, comes with a nice research. I am going ahead with my left knee arthroscopic surgery after one year in agony, I was visiting all kinds of doctors are almost gave up. I would definitely recommend him. He specializes in arthroscopic surgeries.
I appreciated that he took the time needed to find out exactly what was going on as well as personally followed up with some literature we had spoken about.
I took my 94 year-young mom to see Dr. Nicholson for a twisted knee and we were both very, VERY impressed by every aspect of the visit. The office is convenient, spacious, airy and inviting. The staff is welcoming and kind. And Dr. Nicholson was absolutely outstanding. Very short wait to see him, and then he spent all the time necessary with my mom, not rushing at all, being extremely gentle and compassionate with her, and he seemed to GENUINELY care about her and her situation. One of the best experiences I've ever had seeing a doctor.
Very nice knowledgeable and honest.
