We managed to get two kids' appointments done in a reasonable amount of time, the office was very accommodating on that front and it made life a lot easier for our family! Great energy in the space, Ari was especially awesome when helping select glasses. Great experience overall for my kiddos (and the glasses arrived waaaaaay earlier than we anticipated!).

Born and raised in Central Oregon, I started working in the field of Optometry during my high school years and continued working through my college years, thus sparking my interest. I attended Pacific University, where I received my Bachelors of Vision Science and my Doctorate of Optometry.
After graduation, I worked in a family care private practice setting. From pediatrics to geriatrics, ocular disease management to vision therapy to specialty contact lens fittings, we treated a wide variety of patients. I am looking forward to continuing taking care of all patients who walk through our doors.

Dr. Minnis was very thorough with my exam. She explained how all the fancy machinery worked, and a lot of things I did not about caring for my eyes and maintaining good eye health. She also followed every COVID-19 protocol for her line of work. Everything in the room was really clean and sanitized immediately, face coverings and social distancing was maintained inside the office as well. I felt really safe in the office. Very detailed and comprehensive exam! Was able to explain everything to me to make sure that I understood my diagnosis. Entire staff was very friendly and even helped me pick out frames that compliment my face!

I am very used to optometrists, I have had glasses since I was 8. This was by far the most thorough and kind appointment I have ever had. I really felt like if there was anything they could do to make my eyes better they would have!

Dr. Minnis, and the whole staff, were amazing. I am blind, bliND, BLIND and my glasses broke (thank you PTB for gel crazy glue), necessitating emergency maneuvers to procure replacements & fast! Through their online booking service I discovered she had next day available and booked immediately.
She and her assistant were thorough in their respective exams and followup questions, and so NICE and CARING. I ended up in a very unfortunate situation with my current glasses and driving, & Dr. Minnis graciously gave me, no charge at all, an interim solution so I could get home that night. I am very grateful to the crew there; they are lifesavers.
Advice: Before your appointment, fillout both the zocdoc forms AND on the office website, through the client portal, the forms in PHR as completely as possible. If you do both, you won't have to take any paperwork, prescription verification's or anything else except your current glasses or contacts.
