About Danielle Crumble Smith

I am a well-rounded Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science from California State University, Northridge. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, clinical inpatient and outpatient care, bariatric nutrition, diabetes management, eating disorder recovery, integrative and functional wellness, and sports nutrition. Having lived in TN, CA, NV, Alaska, CO, and now GA, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life. I love spending time with my family, running, and enjoying the outdoors. These days, eating well gives me the energy to keep up with my twin toddlers. I initially got into nutrition to learn how to fuel my body, but my focus shifted as my health declined. Being diagnosed with Celiac disease, Lyme disease, SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), and hypothyroidism taught me the significant role nutrition plays in treatment and recovery. As a new mother, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the role nutrition plays in women’s reproductive health. Having experienced my own fertility struggles, I especially enjoy working with clients facing infertility or trying to conceive. I take an integrative and functional approach to nutrition, evaluating how the body functions as a whole. I love equipping my clients with the knowledge to fuel their bodies with nutrient-dense (and delicious) foods that support overall health. As a busy mom, I understand what “real life” is like and offer a nonjudgmental space to help make sense of the abundant nutritional information we are bombarded with. I collaborate with my clients to develop personalized eating plans aligned with their health goals, using intuitive eating and mindfulness-based strategies to support long-term health that encompasses mind, body, and spirit. This provider is not licensed in the states of IN, PA, NY, VT, MA, CT, WA, OK, HI, and OR.
