Dr. Levin was amazing. She was incredibly personable, and considering the fact that I was a new patient of hers, she was warm and made me feel so comfortable within our first few minutes of meeting. Although I was seeing her because my primary gynecologist was booked for weeks on end, I plan to see her going forward for all of my future services. She was lovely and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN.

Unlike with some medical professionals, I was able to have a pap smear done without as much trouble, e.g., the doctor yelling at me to relax. Although there was definitely some discomfort, I've experienced worse during the same procedure and, besides the pinch, pressure, and cramping of the part of the procedure where tissue is collected, I felt relatively relaxed. It helped that the exam room wasn't overly bright.
Otherwise, I had mixed feelings. I liked that she let me explain my past experiences with going from gynecologist to gynecologist and getting a different answer, each and every time. I was a little embarrassed when she burst in on me while I was putting on the gown, at the beginning. I didn't think I was taking that long but had only managed to change out of my top before she came in. I brought in three medical journal abstracts to confirm the last gynecologist I saw was wrong, yet she disregarded them without reading them. She tried to say not to believe what I read on the Internet and about how the doctors and nurse practitioners are the ones with degrees, yet I am the one who has to live with whatever mistakes they make for the rest of my life.
