She was nice, felt visit was to quick. I was surprised a man came in 1st to assess my skin, I specifically wanted a female MD. He did the skin assess, then she just quickly looked over my skin. Not sure it was a through exam. I expected th MD to spend more time with me, ask me if I had any concerns or question. Again assessment and visit to quick to even think about concerns or issues.
Office was very hard to find. Need a sign outside building since no one is inside to greet you. Very cold atmosphere.

She was very gentle. Gave a thorough explanation of what she was going to do and what to expect. I also like that they will call you with the results of the biopsy regardless of whether the result is positive or negative. It is good for the patient to know either way. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Dawes is an exceptional specialist. She explained the importance of the treatment plan she mapped out for me and the benefits of adhering to the regimen. She is very personable & genuine she really concerned about her patient's care and I appreciate how thorough she was with me during my visit. We laughed, talked and I felt comfortable and confident with my care. I was able to easily schedule a follow-up appointment with a lovely young woman directly after my visit.

The doctor was ok. Friendly and professional. I did not feel there was an adequate amount of time given to explain my problems and how to apply the medications prescribed. I was told the instructions would be on the prescriptions by the doctor's assistant. There was not. The prescriptions only said, "apply to affected area." I had several affected areas, each requiring a different medication. I called the office the next day and left a voicemail. They indicated a call would be returned within 24 hours. That was Thursday. I called again on Friday AM and spoke to the receptionist who was very nice and gave the office my message. They promised to call just as soon as a procedure they were performing was completed. It is now Saturday afternoon and no call. I do not as of this writing know what medication to put where. I applied some where I thought it might go and ended up burning my skin very badly. This was my personal experience.

I was impressed with Dr. Dawes. Dr. Dawes listened to my concerns. She did an excellent job explaining what was going to be done. Dr. Dawes has an excellent group of support staff. Her support staff had outstanding customer service skills. They were great about explaining pre and post procdure information.

I have worked with many physicians as a nurse for 38 years. Dr. Dawes was by far the kindest, gentle, caring physician I have had the pleasure of meeting. I mean that from my heart. I would also like to compliment her staff, from the receptionist to her room nurse. All very kind and polite. This office does it right. As an employee of UH for 25 years this office should be the example for all in the system.......To heal....to teach.... to discover....
