“She knows her stuff and teaches her patient what they need to know about diabetes and thyroid issues. She is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. She treat you like a person not like some doctors who just pass off what you tell them with oh it’s nothing to put it mildly her staff is wonderful just like her. I am so glad that Joanne is back. ”

She was warm, intelligent, thorough and -- at this first appointment since the departure of my previous endocrinologist -- seemed to understand my situation and needs related to her specialty. She was clear about the next steps I should take. She also gave me a referral to a mail order pharmacy she thinks might work for me. I liked her!

Asks questions and listens to the answers. And thorough in her responses. Makes sure you understand your options and her reasons for offering them. And clearly says that if it is not working for you to call her and discuss. Really appreciate that.

She’s pleasant and gave me a Prolia shot. I also have thyroid issues and she did not examine me. Perhaps that has to take place in a separate visit, but if so I wasn’t informed.
