Dr. Andreas is a specialist in minimally invasive urologic surgery including both endoscopic and laparoscopic/robotic surgery. He has a particular interest in adrenal disorders that cause hypertension including Conn Syndrome (hyperaldosteronism) Cushing Syndrome (hypercortisolism) and pheochromocytoma. Many of these patients can be cured with minimally invasive partial or complete adrenalectomy on one side.
For Dr. Andreas, one of the most gratifying aspects of patient care is discovering what is important to each patient and tailoring treatment to achieve these goals. He believes this is an integral part of respectful, compassionate care and empowering patients to truly become a partner in their health. He focuses treatment on prevention, lifestyle choices, medical management, and when required surgical treatment of urologic diseases.
