He’s very awkward and didn’t make me feel welcome and had blank stares or blank moments of thought many times.

Very unpleasant experience. Staff was not friendly and felt very judged by them when I was there.
Excellent physician, impeccable physical exam skills. Great old school physician, I'm impressed.
Verified patient
He did not help at all. I dont think he took me seriously when I described what was wrong.
He had no clue what to give me or how to help me... he has no experience with lupus....
Very easy to talk to. Listens to the patient. Made him my primary after one visit

Dr. Barclay is very professional and pleasant to work with.
Verified patient
A little awkward and bedside manner was not satisfactory. You can hear the doctor’s conversations with other patients outside of the waiting room. He was also quite rude and unsympathetic toward my condition.
Dr. Barclay was calm, kind, and easy to speak with. It was my first appointment with him and it went as smoothly and professionally as I could have hoped.
I enjoyed my check up with Dr. Barclay. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely attentive to his patients needs and/or questions.

I like that Dr. Barclay is a profesdional. He explains to me what treatment I need and he doesn't sugar coat it. Also, I've never have a long wait. He is mindful of my time.
Verified patient
Unfortunately the privacy of the doctor office wasn’t great everyone in the waiting room could hear our conversation. My husband was waiting for me and said he could hear all of our conversation. The doctor was on schedule and was through.
Dr. Barclay was great. He kept the appointment even though a storm hit, he worked around some insurance snafus that popped up, his bedside manner was great and he's competent and easy to talk to. As someone who is fat a lot of times I feel very uncomfortable at doctors offices, but while Dr. Barclay did make note of my weight, he was happy that I am already on a diet and losing weight and was supportive and kind. Definitely recommend.
Verified patient
Very thoughtful physician who takes his time and is very thorough— rare for PCPs who are under more and more pressure to see 6 patients or more an hour. The office staff are intelligent and efficient The location is convenient for Center City patients.

Great!
Dr Barclay was very professional. The office was not the usual practice mill that many physicians are forced to operate in these days. I never felt rushed & he addressed all my issues. I'll go back for sure!
Verified patient
Very kind and helpful, office was small and personal feeling and he took time to connect with me personally. I wasn't just a chart to him.
Verified patient
As someone who is terrified of doctors, I can't recommend Dr. Barclay highly enough. He's so friendly and reassuring and seems to want to do things properly.
Absoulte waste of time.
I came to Dr. Barclay, complaining of severe headaches. Dr. Barclay gave me a thorough exam, and he made sure not to overlook any details that would cause my health issue or diagnoses. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the issue at hand as well as the typical treatment for this problem. He also made it clear that I had the freedom to contact him after the fact through his office or cell phone should his prescribed solution not help. I was very pleased with Dr. Barclay's professionalism and intellect with this matter.
Verified patient
Dr. Barclay introduced himself, made me feel welcome and actually sat and talked to me about my concerns and the reason for my visit. I didn't feel rushed or ignored, which made me very happy (and had not been my experience with a few other doctors in the area). I felt my diagnosis and treatment were appropriate and not too much or too little. Very happy with my experience.
Verified patient
Very nice and professional man. He made me feel at ease and directed me to an ENT in the same building! The receptionist was professional and polite. Overall it was a great visit!
Verified patient
It was my first time meeting Dr. Barclay. He was on time, knowledgeable and thorough. I don't have any reservations about seeing him as my primary care physician.
Doctor Barclay was fantastic. He is situated in a quiet little office in a great location and he and his staff are both extremely pleasant. Dr. Barclays struck me by how profoundly nice and sweet he is. He was very helpful in all of my concerns and very professional. Very nice guy! Loved him.
Verified patient
He was very thoughtful and pragmatic.

I was able to see the doctor right away and he spent 30 mins with me. I'm very impressed with my experience and am satisfied with making him my new PCP. It's convenient that he can do blood work right in the office. He also administered my flu shot himself.
One of the best medical practitioners I've seen in Philadelphia. Very east to talk to and doesn't rush the appointment. Sympathetic, thoroughly explains his assessment, and is more than willing to help.
when I went to him after being in a car accident, he discredited my suspicion of having a concussion, despite the fact that I had all the symptoms according to everything else I read. Quick to prescribe over the counter drugs instead of a thorough diagnosis.
Dr. Barclay was great! Chill, efficient, and took time to explain medical terms. The assistant Layla was also very kind! A great doctor's visit.

First time visit. However, he was very attentive to what I explain how I was feeling. He asked questions of my family history of types of illness.

Dr. Barclay is listed as a podiatrist on zocdoc but he is actually a family doctor. He was so kind and understanding that I ended up choosing him as my pcp!

Was excellent
Dr Barclay was very professional and efficient. He let my fiance come into the exam room, which I really appreciated. He listened well, and made me feel comfortable. Crucially, he didn't just give me a prescription and send me out the door. He was honest and not at all condescending. I would recommend him.
