Dr. Bortz obviously cares about his patients, which is sadly a difficult quality to find now. He gives practical advice from the heart, instead of reading a generic script anyone can find on the internet. Sadly, this is surprising. Dr. Bortz is a GOOD doctor and I am lucky to have found him. It is very rare that you meet a Doctor as caring as Dr.Bortz. He genuinely cares about his patients health and overall happiness. He not only listens but also takes the time to make sure he understands any questions and concerns; and then addresses those, whatever they may be. I never feel rushed or like just another number. He is thorough and helpful on every level. Couldn't be more happy to have him as a doctor. I know I am in good hands.

Dr. and staff were thorough and very helpful. Scheduled an ultrasound while I was in the office for regular appointment which made it very convenient, plus staff arranged for Dr. to meet with me after the test to provide the results. Dr. was concerned and very helpful in my diagnosis and treatment.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Bortz! Saw him for the first time today and just loved him. He is so genuine and down to earth and easy to talk to. He made me feel at ease right away. The office vibe there is cozy and friendly and more informal (in a good way) than many of the other doctors I've been to in the past. I felt like everybody who worked there really cared and saw me as a person, not a number. My wait time was next to nothing - about 2 min after I arrived I was in a room to see the doctor. Parking at the office is really easy, lots of open spaces.

I did wait longer than usual today, but I didn't mind, because I know from experience that Dr. Bortz is simply taking the right amount of time to treat each patient and answer all of their questions without rushing them. It's nice to be seen on time, but when you need to ask more questions, it's nice to know that he will take the time to answer your questions.

Dr. Bortz is extremely knowledgeable and thorough during his visits. He is the first doctor I have been to that didn't immediately recommend prescription medications, and instead offered information about natural remedies for daily health. I rarely wait more then a few minutes, and everyone who works there seems very happy.

Dr. Bortz is really knowledgeable and kind. He eagerly wants to work with his patients on an individualized basis. I recently relocated to San Diego and was nervous and anxious about finding a new doctor here. Dr. Bortz assured me that he will be there for me and that I can call anytime I need to do so. His office staff is also very pleasant and friendly. I think Dr. Bortz, his staff and myself are going to be a good fit.
