Dr. Herrera graduated and received his Doctorate from Palmer Chiropractic College in San Jose, CA in 2007. He has spent most of his career practicing in NY but just recently relocated to the Cypress area where he now calls home. Throughout his career, Dr. Herrera has been focused on sports medicine, rehab, and recovery. Dr. Herrera has received several post graduate certifications in Graston Technique, Webster Technique, Active Release Technique, and also is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. Herrera also has his Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Northeast College of Health Sciences. Dr. Herrera has experience working with several different high school sports programs including soccer, baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, golf, and wrestling. Dr. Herrera’s main passion as a sport is soccer. He is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.

This is my second visit with Herrera, and he once again made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that my pain isn't mental but physical. There is a cause and effect, and it makes me feel relieved that I can be treated to get better and STAY better, than letting it get worse and potentially adding more pain and stress elsewhere. Dr. Herrera listened to my goals. It’s very hard to find a provider that will really understand and work with you. Most providers will tell you, well if you stop doing that the pain will go away. I was honest with him, I was not going to stop because it brings me joy, and I’d like to compete because I know I can. He told me, I understand I wouldn’t want someone to limit my ability. Dr. Herrera really listened to my concerns and took his time. I didn’t feel rushed and relief after my appointment.

My first visit was ok. He gave me hope that he can address my pain. He scheduled me for Xrays before he can perform the therapy. Weeks past and no calls were made for the xrays schedule. Went to see him a month later and asked him why I havent heard from him . He said he is not used to doing follow ups!!!!!! and told me he can schedule an xray now ????are you kidding me?????For those he was able to help..good for you ..have to look till i find a good and professional one...
