Dr. David Immanuel is Board Certified Cornea Specialist and General Ophthalmologist. He was trained at NYU School of Medicine where he obtained both his MD and PhD under the Medical Scientist Training program. Dr. Immanuel specializes in cataract and refractive surgery and has a special interest in the implementation of premium lenses to correct astigmatism and presbyopia. He also treats complex diseases of the cornea, ocular surface, anterior chamber, iris, and lens using the latest techniques including corneal transplants, ocular surface / anterior chamber / iris reconstruction. In addition, he is an attending at Nassau University Medical Center where he actively trains ophthalmology residents and medical students.
