He is an excellent Doctor whom I did not mind waiting for after meeting him. He listened carefully to what I was saying. He addressed all of my questions. He made sure that he set my mind at ease after beingtold what I was told by another Ophthalmologist that was worrisome to me. It shows that he loves his field of expertise. He is very much up to date on the latest ways to treat your eyes and explains to you why or why not it works for your condition. I never felt rushed. I however was surprised to find out that he does not assist you in obtaining a prescription for your eyes for eyeglasses or contact lenses. I have always gone to an ophthalmologist to examine my eyes for a prescription because in the past I have had problems obtaining a good prescription from Optometrist but he did refer me to some one so I will try again. I am a diabetic who is most concerned about the many problems I can have now & in the future. I trust I found the right Doctor to assist me with this and I highly recommend him.

When I walked in the office for my appointment the lady assistant was obnoxiously rude and said that even though I made an appointment I would have to wait for 45 minutes to an hour and when I stated what's thepoint of making an appointment she replied with the rude statement well there is a wait doctor is running behind...ill never recommend this particular practition to anyone...i made the appoint because this was an emergency and I was had a schedule to follow....never again

Dr. David Immanuel is a great Opthalmologist. His staff was very professional and pleasant. Dr. Immanuel took the time to explain what the issue was and asked if I understood or had any questions.

I went for my original appointment but the doctor was backed up due to seeing an emergency patient and then had to catch up with his scheduled patients. The wait was entirely too long and they couldn't be sure how muchlonger I would have had to wait so I rescheduled. The next visit ran closer to on schedule and the staff was wonderful.

We visited David Immanuel’s office because we wanted a second opinion after another ophthalmologist suggested a minor surgery after identifying a few holes in my girlfriend’s retina. The most significant failure was that he did not identifyeither of the holes in her retina after he bragged about how comprehensive his exams are. After he cleared us to go, we reminded him specifically what to look for and where to look for it. After receiving guidance, he was able to find one, but not both, of the holes in my girlfriend’s retina. He noted that hole he did find could lead to retinal detachment if left untreated so it seems disconcerting that he wasn’t able to find it any of the holes his own or the other one after receiving guidance. We weren’t surprised that things slipped through the cracks. The experience felt like a poorly-managed assembly line with the following steps: 1. Stand in waiting room (not enough seats to sit). 2. Complete initial part of exam with employee 1. 3. Sit in hall since equipment in next room was in use. 4. Employee 1 completed eye chart test. She was new, so wasn’t sure how to complete it. No confidence in eye exam. She put eye drops in eyes in wrong order. 5. Wait in hallway again with other patients. 6. Complete exam with employee 2. 7. David Immanuel comes in completes exam, but fails to find problems that could lead to vision loss. At no point during the two-hour process did we feel confident that my girlfriend was receiving quality care. In our view, David Immanuel could perform reasonably well as an assembly line manager for products where defects are acceptable – but we came in hoping for a capable doctor and don’t believe we found one.

No complaints here! The office was a nice, clean environment. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Immanuel has two qualities I consider important in a doctor, conscientiousness and a calming presence. I plan on using him for all future appointments!
