My appointment was rescheduled, so that’s fine with me. But when I get there and the doctor is not even there yet after my appointment was reschedule was upsetting. That’s fine it’s New York, but when your secretary is not there to at least get the other paper work started or to find out what your copayment will be and no one knows how to help you until the doctor gets there is very disappointing. Not wasting my time again.

This was a real discouraging meeting with Dr. David Katz. The doctor's assistant call me the morning of the appointment asking to move the appointment to an earlier time. I was unable to do this, the appointment was made in a week in advance. I waited in the waiting room for 60 minutes with out even an acknowledgement of the utter lack of common courtesy. Also pretty dismissive during my appt, as if he had better things to be doing.

He was just not too nice. Kinda mean. Straight face and when he called my name and realized that his secretary hadn't taken my insurance card yet (not my fault), he just dismissed me and went to call the other patient. Mind you, i was there 20 mins before her. It just was not a pleasant experience. Then I was asking him questions in case my lab results come out positive, but he didn't want to answer anything without the results. But i really just wanted to be informed. Ugh. After I see him next week for my results, NEVER AGAIN! He won't be getting paid from my insurance.

The sketchiest place I have ever been to. They accept cash only and when I asked why, the doctor just told me "it's a long story" and wouldn't explain further. You have to pay cash upfront for the copay and any treatments. The doctor was not very helpful. Never going back!

I was impressed with the quiet level of attention to detail and the thorough way in which he dealt with my foot issues. Also - a bonus - he was willing to converse and showed an interest in me as a person. Many doctors/specialists do not, only seeing the patient as a condition. I look forward to my next appointment.

My visit to Dr. Katz was pleasant. I arrived slightly after my appointment and the receptionist was understanding and very nice. I completed the necessary paperwork and was greeted by the doctor personally in about 15 or so mInutes. Dr. Katz was professional, took his time and answered my questions. He examined my foot thoroughly and gave me options for treatment. I look forward to my followup.

I waited a long time to see the doctor, and actually wasn't able to get in to see him - because I'd been kept waiting so long, I had to return to work and didn't get the consultation I needed.

Dr. Katz took the time to explain the issues I was having. Also, when he had to give me a shot of cortizone and I got dizzy, he took the time and made an effort to make me more comfortable. I didn't feel rushed because he had more patients. He was very thorough and I will be going back to see him.
