I was happy with the staff and I was happy with my doctor he was very concerned and explained everything to me and even though there was a mix up with my appointment he still went ahead and seen me do to the the condition I was experience they made me so very happy I thought I was going to have to go through emergency because I couldn't get an appointment with no obgyn for a month or to thank you god for Dr David kamak

David Kmak is a dedicated and diligent OB-GYN assisting his patients in Detroit and Warren, MI. Dr. Kmak is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and he is affiliated with the Harper University Hospital and the Hutzel Women’s Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy, and the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals. Dr. Kmak is currently providing care and treatment for his patients at Hutzel Women’s Health Specialists.
Dr. Kmak received his medical education from the Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. He then enrolled with the Wayne State University’s Affiliated Hospitals Program, where he received hands-on training in obstetrics and gynecology. In 1989, Dr. Kmak was named the executive chief resident of his program. Dr. Kmak is currently serving as the Director of the Kenneth J Ryan Program for Family Planning and Abortion Training as well as the Medical Director of the University Health Center’s OB-GYN Clinics.

Dr Kmak and the office staff were very kind and professional. Dr Kmak took the time to explain treatment options and answered questions without making me feel rushed. And for the exam, I was given a real gown, not paper! The only (slight) concern was that the receptionist expressed some dissatisfaction when she noted that I had made the appointment through Zocdoc. It sounded like sometimes patients are given appointment times that are not actually available and it ends up being an inconvenience for the staff. This and the fact that I've had 3 appointments made on Zocdoc canceled by other doctor's offices, has me thinking that I may have to go back to just making appointments the old fashioned way. Additionally, the conversation made me feel a little uncomfortable, as though I had done something wrong by scheduling online. But overall, the visit went very smoothly and I was highly satisfied with the care I received. I will definitely continue seeing Dr Kmak.
