About Dr. David M Cantrell

Prior to partnering with Dr. William L. Cousins in 1994, Dr. David M. Cantrell practiced medicine in Kennesaw and LaGrange, Ga. He received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Mercer University in Atlanta and earned his Doctorate in Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Erlanger Medical Center affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine located in Chattanooga, Tenn. Dr. Cantrell is board certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the Cobb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia. He was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for their quality diabetes care and management.
