Dr. David Mack graduated with his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York in 1981. He then completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and has been in Private Cardiology Practice for over 25 years.
Dr. David Mack is a well-trained and experienced senior physician who supplements Dr. Mueller in performing consultations, evaluations, and follow-up. Dr. Mack has been trained in Venous Disease personally by Dr. Mueller.
In addition to the full range of Cardiology services offered to patients at Medical Associates of New York, patients can receive a variety of top vein treatments. I made an appointment online the same day and the office had a bunch of appointments available, however they were completely overbooked and overwhelmed. The office was dated and filthy. Everyone around me was complaining about how long they have been waiting. Since I only had an hour lunch break and I saw how behind they were I asked to have my co-pay refunded so that I can go somewhere else. The receptionist paged the doctor who came out immediately to see me. The visit was rushed, but luckily my visit wasn't something that needed a solid sit down. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Mack as a doctor who will take the time to learn about you and your specific issues or for a quick visit. The staff wasn't pleasant to deal with either.

Dr Mack is very nice and kind and made me feel comfortable. It is easy to get an appointment right away when needed. Unfortunately they billed my insurance for an illness on a day that I was there for a wellcare visit and have yet to fix it after many phone calls and their assurance to correct the problem and I am now receiving collections notices from the lab because if their mistake, which they still have not rectified after calls from both me and my insurance company.

It's clear everyone in this office hates each other and hates Dr. Mack. The nurses, receptionists and Dr. Mack yelled at each other openly and under their breath, said extremely inappropriate things in front of patients and generally seemed to be totally disinterested in working there. The most helpful person was the receptionist.

As per my doctor's office, they do not all patients to schedule appointments through Zoc Doc. My wait time usually takes 1.5 -2 hours. Im rating from prior doc appointments. I DEFINITELY NEED A NEW DOCTOR!!!!

Awful experience from start to finish ... Went to have tests done - doc wanted to do something completely different that I am already being treated for. Was supposed to provide results on a Wednesday - no call back - doesn't work thurs/Friday - no way to contact him. On top of waiting over 90 mins to see him. Terrible.

The visit overall was fine, but when I arrived, there was no record whatsoever of my appointment because the office never received notification that the appointment had been booked (and confirmed) by ZocDoc. Sounds like there is an intermediary in this case between ZocDoc and the actual office.

Although it took I while for me to get registered by the front desk (it gets very busy!) and another while to get examined. The waiting time was, worth the wait. I am so glad my endless search for a great PCP has finally ended. Thank you Dr. Mack!

The check-in station is pretty awful - I don't think they even told Dr. Mack that I was there. After half an hour, I followed up with them and was finally seen shortly after. Dr. Mack apologized, and was very personable and kind. He even called a specialist on the phone for me to ensure I'd be seen quickly upon his referral. His attention and concern was much appreciated.
