Dr. David McAlpine is a Board-Certified Gynecologist. He decided to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology after experiencing the joys of the maternity ward while still in medical school in Johannesburg, South Africa.
After completing medical school and specializing in OB/GYN in Johannesburg, South Africa and London, England, Dr. McAlpine went into private practice in 1980. In 1986, he moved to the USA and settled in Texas where he has delivered numerous babies and provided personalized OB/GYN care to the women of the Fort Worth area for the past 19 years.
Dedication to providing the most technologically advanced options to women, with compassion, in a comfortable and friendly environment, has been the hallmark of Dr. McAlpine’s practice. His gentle nature puts patients at ease.

He had a great bedside manor, I had kids with me that were fussy and they able to calm them down as we did the appointment. I also requested to be handled gently and usually other doctors just blow that request off and do whatever but dr.mcalpine was wonderful and respected that request. Super sweet old man you can tell he’s been doing this awhile and there’s probably nothing he hasn’t seen lol soo this is probably nothing new to some but when you get undressed and lay on the table there’s no rolly dr seat for a reason you don’t get stirrups you just lay back with your knees up like you’re looking and the stars or something normal and he’s standing right next to you and checks your cervix then gets in the middle to get a better look. Overall great experience would go back again and refer to my friends

I was expected for the MD to look into my vaginal then say go to this place for blood work when after I got there. I already did the blood work in April. I wasn't happy to do that part again.
I thought this appt would be like any other appt they would check to on pap smear test see if it's abnormal Testing or not like last year that took sample from your vaginal like I thought it would be. But no.

Dr McApline and his staff were so nice and understanding when I scheduled a same day appointment for an emergency I was having. I was diagnosed with large fibroid tumors and needed a gynecologist right away so I can get a hysterectomy done ASAP. After explaining my situation his staff took me in right away. Dr McApline made me feel better after the exam letting me know that they will take care of my issue. I was in a bad spot and they helped me out and I will be able to have surgery soon to fix my problem. My husband was very impressed with Dr McApline and feels I will be in good hands.

Dr. McAlpine is a wonderful doctor. He has been my doctor for over 12 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is trustworthy, highly respectful and he takes his time with each patient. You never feel rushed through. I met him when he was on call years ago for my first ob/gyn when I had a baby. My first doctor retired after that and I sought out Dr. McAlpine to be my physician. I have never regretted that decision and have sent all of my friends to him as well.

He was knowledgeable about a few things and diagnosis, but not good with dealing with symptoms (i.e. mostly pain). I was charged hundreds of dollars for multiple lab tests I didn't know where happening. Also, he was fond of giving me non-medical device, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I'd recommend him for a quick, normal check up, but nothing more.

I went for my initial pregnancy confirmation a d heard my babys heartbeat for the first time!! Dr. Mcalpine was very thorough and personable. I left with a whole goody bag of prenatals and samples from laundry detergent to formula. The office is small bit comfortable and i only wish that he was a permanant dr. Being as though we have to switch at 18-20 weeks.

Dr. McAlpine has been my doctor for 15 years. Him and his staff are always prompt, courteous, and helpful. Going to the dr is never fun but they do their best to make each visit as pleasant as possible.
