Dr. David B. Mendelson is the founder and president of ENT Specialists of Arizona, P.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. Dr. Mendelson completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery and Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery at Richmond Heights General Hospital in Ohio. He was a partner in an ENT/Facial Plastics practice in Cincinnati for eleven years before relocating to Arizona to establish ENT Specialists of Arizona, PC in October of 2002. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Otolarynsocieties.
Dr. David Mendelson in his office.Dr. Mendelson is currently a member of the board of Trustees at Phoenix St. Luke’s Hospital, as well as recently holding the positions of Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital. He is on the staffs of Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital, Mountain Vista Medical Center, Physician Surgery Center of Tempe, Banner Desert Surgery Center and Banner Desert Hospital. He is currently licensed in Arizona, Ohio, California and Michigan.
Dr. Mendelson's hobbies include snow skiing, hiking and water sports. Dr. Mendelson has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with ear, nose and throat diagnosis along with a vast knowledge of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Mendelson particularly enjoys the challenge of resolving nasal sinus problems. He gets great satisfaction in seeing his patients reach optimum health.

I am sure he is a very knowledgeable doctor however his communication skills & patient counseling need to be improved. He seemed rush. I did not feel like I was given an opportunity to discuss recommendations or have my questions answered.

Dr. Mendelson seemed to be very intelligent. His bedside manner could have been a little better but I understand it's a busy clinic. I've had a lifetime of ear problems and have used the same ENT until now and I feel that he will be a good fit.

Dr. Mendelson was quick, efficient, pleasant and thorough. The office staff was a bit slow, though. They also had me use a digital tablet to fill out paperwork I had already completed online previously, which was difficult to do while holding my infant.

There were very unusual reasons for the office not opening on time but the wait was irrelevant once I met & was treated by Dr. Mendelson! What a professional and nice, nice doctor! He solved my problem in minutes and left me feeling so happy that I had lucked into finding such a terrific ENT doc. I would see him again any time & recommend him to anyone who needs a great ENT doc!

Dr. Mendelson is "TOP NOTCH" he was very professional, and very thorough with his examination. He even recommended some other issues that he saw that could be corrected, and wanted to do some follow-up work with to see what roads we could take to get those issues corrected.
