He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Mobley received his Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University, and completed requirements for his M.D. degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
After completing his surgical internship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1987 where he completed a 4-year residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Mobley completed a full plastic surgery residency and micro-vascular surgery fellowship in 1993 at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. In his final year of training Dr. Mobley served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Seeking advanced training in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Mobley completed an additional 1-year fellowship at the McCollough, Grotting and Associates Aesthetic Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, which was devoted to extensive training in specific cosmetic surgery procedures such as facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and liposuction.
