I think Dr. David is fabulous, especially if one happens to be an athlete, like me. he is the best! He is a great listener, which to me is very important, because is the way to really get to know ME. And has a way to establish rapport without coming off like he knows everything, because he is the Doctor and you are not. He knows that YOU (me) know YOUR body best, and that is a critical factor in establishing a meaningful collaboration between doctor and patient. I recommend him 100%.

Dr. David A. Ross specializes in Primary Care Sports Medicine and is dual board certified in both Primary Care Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. While training at The University of Pennsylvania for his Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Ross served as a team physician for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles and the NHL Philadelphia Flyers. He has experience caring for professional athletes in the primary care sports medicine and family medicine settings. He specializes in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions as well as general medical conditions in pediatric, adult and masters athletes.
Dr. Ross also served as a team physician for the Ivy League NCAA Division I University of Pennsylvania Quakers – where he cared for athletes in all of the University’s 36 varsity sports teams, including the Football, Lacrosse, Basketball, Track and Field, Tennis, Soccer, and Baseball teams, among others. He was a Medical Captain for the Philadelphia Half Marathon, and has experience caring for athletes during the Penn Relays, Philadelphia Marathon, Triathlon, and the Special Olympics.
Dr. Ross completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship and his Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Medical School education at The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, and completed his undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis. He has published numerous journal articles and has also published several book chapters in medical textbooks.

Amazing! Dr. David Ross really listens! From the initial evaluations, he was completely engaged and concerned. The comprehensive in-house services he provides are a model for what medical care should be! X-RAYS, ultrasound, injections, and then immediate physical therapy with a PT in the gym right on the premesis. I came in with tremendous shoulder pain and left feeling 100% better after one very quick, short, but comprehensive visit! Truly amazing!
