Dr. Stone is a board certified obstetrician, gynecologist, surgeon and educator. He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed his residency at Hutzel Hospital. He is a thought leader in minimally invasive surgery, particularly in the areas of operative hysteroscopy and da Vinci Robotic surgery. Dr. Stone has performed more than 500 minimally invasive surgeries in his career, while educating peers about these endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Stone provides treatment for urinary incontinence, offering both medical and minimally invasive surgical options. He is a national speaker on the topic of hereditary cancer syndromes and he has been instrumental in identifying women who are at high risk for developing cancer of the breasts, ovaries, colon and uterus.
Dr. Stone has been practicing in the metro Detroit area for 19 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of several national organizations including the American Medical Association and the Society of Robotic Surgeons.

Dr. Stone is an excellent, caring, curious and expert physician - much better than the OB (whom I thought was great) that delivered both my children. He's the best OBGYN I've ever been to see. Highly and enthusiastically recommend him.
