Dr. Rockwell graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1991. He then graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1995 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Fraternity. He took the additional step in training by completing a residency in Ocular Disease and Surgical Co-Management at the Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Rockwell is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association (AZOA). He was selected as the AZOA’s “Young Optometrist of the Year” in 2004, and served as President in 2006. Furthermore, he is a long-serving board member, and past President, of the Arizona Friends of Talking Books, the charity associated with the Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was friendly. The tech Emmanuel was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Rockwell is equally impressive. My first time at this office and I would highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Rockwell for only two years (only 4 appointments for myself and two for my wife), and he either has notes about my family and I, or he has an impeccable memory. He was friendly enough to ask how my new son is, and how my wife is after a certain eye emergency he treated her for almost a year and a half ago. Definitely a caring doctor, and very good at what he does!

Dr. Rockwell is very professional but still takes the time to listen to your concerns. He makes you feel comfortable so that you can explain what issues you have and takes a "common sense" approach to a solution. I have (and will continue) to recommend Dr. Rockwell to friends, family and co-workers.

He gave me a prescription for reading glasses instead of distance glasses. So when I got to Costco I had to call back to the office to get the correct prescription faxed to me. Innocent mistake but still disappointing!

They didn't have my appointment on the books. When I was seen, it was with another doctor. I waited an additional 45 minutes to see Dr. Rockwell. It was NOT the doctor's fault, he is great...it was the office mismanaging my appointment.
